筑波大学自然保護寄付講座集中講義「科学と社会のコミュニケーション」
Tsukuba  University CPNC “Communication between Science and Society”

自然を守るためには専門的な科学知識だけでなく、それを生かすための一般市民や行政とのコミュニケーションが欠かせません。この講義では、講師がこれまで携わってきた科学番組制作やサイエンス・カフェ企画やイベントデザインといった経験を元に、科学と社会を結ぶ「科学コミュニケーション」に関して解説します。
またAdobe IllustratorやPhotoshopを用いたイベントポスター制作に関する演習を行います。

In order to conserve nature, it is important not only to have specialized scientific knowledge, but also to communicate with the general public and government. In this lecture, the lecturer will explain “science communication” that links science and society based on his experiences in science TV program production, science café planning, and event design.
In addition, there will be exercises on creating event posters using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

7月9・10日(土日):対面で行う。(やむを得ない理由により、オンライン受講を希望するものは事前に連絡すること)
本授業では、Adobe IllustratorおよびPhotoshopを扱うため、ノートPCへのインストールが必要となります。したがって、Adobeソフトが問題なく動作するPCが必要です。最小・推奨の要件は以下を参考にしてください。

あるいはAdoeb CCのEnterprise版がインストールされた研究室等の共用ノートPCを、借りられる状況にある方は借りてください。

What to expect from the students and what to keep in mind when taking the course.
July 9 and 10 (Saturday and Sunday): Face-to-face. (If you wish to take the class online for unavoidable reasons, please let us know in advance.)
In this class, students will need to install Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop on their laptop PCs in order to work with them. Therefore, a PC that can run Adobe software without problems is required. Please refer to the following for minimum and recommended requirements.

If you are in a situation where you can borrow a shared notebook PC in a laboratory, etc., with the Enterprise version of Adoeb CC installed, please do so.

備考 Remarks
  1. 著作権フリー画像を一部お渡ししますが、ポスターを制作するにあたり、著作権に問題の無い画像を用意しておくと、作業がスムーズに進むことがあります。
  2. 最終的にはIllustratorで制作したポスターを課題として提出していただきます。
  3. Adobeソフトの個人PCへのインストールが必要となります。
    ※体験版で結構です。無料で始めるのところから、Illustrator、Photoshopをインストールしておいてください。その後使用しない場合はインストールから7日以内に解約してください。

  1. *When creating posters, it is helpful to have images that you have taken or created yourself, so that the work can be completed quickly.
  2. *You will be required to submit a poster created in Illustrator as your final assignment.
  3. You will need to install the Adobe software on your personal computer. The trial version is fine. Please install Illustrator, Photoshop, and from the “Get Started for Free” section. If you don’t use the software after that, you must cancel the subscription within 7 days of installation.
